Khrunichev Medical and Consumer Goods Plant
Khrunichev Medical and Consumer Goods Plant (KhSC) is a division of Khrunichev Space Center.
Federal state enterprise Khrunichev Space Science and Manufacturing Center is a leader of Russian aerospace industry and is one of the world key manufacturers in aerospace technology sector.
Khrunichev Space Center is a world-renowned company primarily as a manufacturer of Space Launch Vehicle (SLV) “Proton”, which is presently recognized as an exceptionally reliable heavy class space launcher capable to deliver cargo into the distant orbit.
Medical and Consumer Goods Plant was founded in early 90s based as a division of Khrunichev State Space Research, Science and Manufacturing Center with the purpose of application of advanced scientific researches and technologies to manufacturing of high quality medical equipment. The priority of the company is manufacturing of medical equipment such as monoplace oxygen chambers for hyperbaric oxygen facilities, hypobaric hypoxia treatment and patients’ resuscitation.
Existence of an advanced technological base and highly qualified personnel, formerly employed in the aerospace industry allowed to develop and to organize in shortest possible time serial manufacturing of such a unique equipment as hyperbaric and hypobaric systems of BLKS family: BLKS – 301 M, BLKS 303 MK, BLKS 307 MK.
Operation of these systems N. N. Burdenko Head Military Hospital, A. A. Vishnevsky Central Military Hospital, Head Hospitals of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Federal Security Service, N. F. Sclifosofky Research Institute of Emergency Care, Russian Academy of Science Scientific Surgery Center, in medical organizations of President Administration Center, Moniki Medical Center and other leading medical centers confirmed highest degree of reliability of the Khrunichev products. That was determined by applied technologies, quality control system which are based on an aerospace technology.
Conducted certification of medical equipment and certification of the manufacturing process in authorized international centers allowed to register it in national health care regulatory institutions of such countries as Brazil, Australia, Greece, Turkey, South Korea, Argentina, Panama and others. That gave us an opportunity to sale our equipment to these countries.
Presently our equipment is being successfully operated in Russia and former Soviet Union countries, as well as the USA, Latin America countries, South Korea, Australia, Turkey, Greece and so on.

Computerized Monitoring System (CMS) for continuous patient monitoring during HBO sessions.
CMS – is the specialized unit, which combines monitoring and information (database subsystems.
According to analysis of the processed information and considering certain disease, the system provides medical personnel with ample opportunity for organizing treating process and is helpful for forming recommendations, based on the treatment results.
Specific features
Possibility of processing and analysing of widened information body for one or several patients is provided. Information body volume is to be specified when concluding delivery contact.
Expanded database, which includes not only information on the patients and treating procedures, but also reference and methodical materials on HBO therapy-200 in number.
It is possible to work with database during treatment process.
The system can be equipped with multimedia software for providing treatment procedure with voice accompaniment.

Monoplace Hyperbaric System BLKS-303MK 18.09.2008
The system is applied for realisation of hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) treatments.

The system includes baro-chamber, control unit, supporting base, gurney and patient bed.
In order to monitor patient physiologic parameters (arterial pressure, photoplethysmography, heart rate, SpO2) and internal environment conditions (pressure, compression / decompression rate, humidity, temperature, CO2 and O2 levels) the system is equipped with ‘Portable Monitor for HBO therapy B-001’ and emergency alarm acoustic signal.
To extend the range of available applications the system allows switching of diagnostic and life support systems (ALV, infusions etc).
Close circuit O2 supply system ensures high economic efficiency.
The pressurization can be achieved by oxygen or air.
Fire safety is ensured owing to no external power sources are used, talking device is powered by 9V battery.
For better patient comfort the complex features enlarged chamber space and better observation.
Monoplace system BLKS-307 18.09.2008
The complex represents the 3rd generation barosystem (based on BLKS – 301 and BLKS – 303 predecessors) and allows realisation of hypobaric hypoxy (alpine air) treatment and hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) treatment.

Due to application of integrated control system and auxiliary elements the complex allows realisation of both hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) treatments and hypobaric hypoxy (alpine air) treatments. Besides, according to the Customer’s requirements the complex can be supplied in two single mode versions (BLKS – 307/01 for HBO treatments and BLKS – 307/02 for hypobaric hypoxy treatments).

Ability to plug in diagnostic and life support systems (lungs ventilation, infusions) allows treatment in resuscitation conditions.
