Medidos® and Medimax® – Pill dispenser 15.09.2008

Medidos De Luxe can take the worry out of dispensing tablets for people of all ages. The No. 1 model consists of seven separate boxes – one for each day of the week – packed in robust wallet with a velcro fastener. The boxes are marked Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime.
There are three movable dividers, so the size of the compartments can be adapted to accomodate different numbers of tablets. There is also an one-piece cover, enabling the user to take one of the boxes out, without the need to carry the whole dispenser.
For safety’s sake, a patient record card is enclosed so that medication details need not go astray. Pencilled notes can be written on the base of the day boxes.
Medimax De Luxe was designed especially for patients who have to take big tablets, or have to take many tablets each day. They are also ideal for patients with handling difficulties or those who might not see too well.
The Medimax comes in a blue plastic wallet with a velcro fastening. It contains eight boxes, which are sub-divided into fixed compartments marked Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Bedtime. Seven of the boxes have the days of the week printed on the lids. The last box has a blank lid, and can be used as a spare, or for tablets which are only taken occasionally.
A patient record card is included. An added safety feature is provided by two plastic bubbles on the underside of the lid. These catch on the walls of the compartments, and indicate how far the lid has been extended. Patients with impaired sight might also benefit from the thick blue line on the trailing edge of the lid.
