Boehringer Ingelheim – Handilaher 02.10.2008
Our multi-award winning Handihaler is now marketed jointly with Pfizer for the COPD treatment Spiriva. This groundbreaking design brought genuine consumer appeal to the inhaler, without compromising technical performance. By rationalisation and elimination of components, it also reduced production costs by 60%.

GE Healthcare – technetium generator 02.10.2008
Our work with GE Healthcare on this technetium generator (a specialised hospital product used to produce radioactive solutions for use in patient imaging procedures) looked at all aspects of usage, appeal, markets and manufacturing strategy. The result is a new product design which has increased sales by 17%, rationalised two production lines into one, reduced assembly time by 50% and increased profit margin by 24%.

Orthos – bone marrow expirator 02.10.2008
KD worked with Orthos in development of a series of devices for the collection blood from the bone. The new products offer real benefits through improved functionality and have increased perceived value through look and feel.
